The window is from the cartoon for Frankby, St John the Divine of 1872 and was made for The chapel of Cheadle Royal Hospital in 1909. The quarries are adaptions from William Morris. The greenish tone is characteristic of John Henry Dearle who supervised the production. Sewter states the design was only used 4 times- Leigh 1874, Cromer 1894. and the two above.
