Unlocated - last recorded as being owned by Colonel Herbert Jekyll by F de Lisle in 1904. There are bound to be a number of studies for it which at the moment we haven't identified. As far as we can tell it was not in the William Graham collection so Jekyll must have bought it directly from B-J. The Fitzwilliam work list refers to "1873 ... Painted in watercolours a city by moonlight with seven girls in the foreground" which relates directly to the catalogue description. The image is from the Hollyer photographic album of the 1898 Burne-Jones Memorial Exhibition.
