A workshop photograph of a re-drawing of the left hand section of the minstrel figures, at the top of the central light, below Christ in Majesty in the est window in All Saints Church, Cambridge. the original cartoon or sketch is not mentioned in Burne-Jones's Account book held in the Fitzwilliam Museum, and it is proposed that Burne-Jones made a small sketch which was converted into a cartoon possibly by Fairfax Murray, who had recently joined the Studio. This would explain the slightly uncharacteristic features of the faces and there not being an entry in the Account book. There is a similarity between the way in which the figures are set against one another and the design for The Six Days of Creation lights (July 1870) in the west window of All Saints Church, Middleton Cheney.
