Fitzwilliam Account book: 1874 August Oxford Ch. Church Cecily widow £90 Probably the cartoon of 1874 taken back into the studio after the glass was made and subsequently coloured. The Fitzwilliam work list states in 1881: Three small panels in oils of angels Same figures in watercolour on bigger scale. These were taken from the tracery of the Vyner memorial window in Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford it is not unreasonable to suggest that this gouache was coloured at the same time not in 1898 as has been previously suggested.
