Watercolour design for the south transcept window of Jesus College Chapel, Cambridge. Large arched window divided vertically into five, horizontally into three tiers. This is a design for the 5-light south transept south window of Jesus College Chapel, Cambridge; Morris and Co. supplied stained glass for most of the Chapel windows 1873-77. The figures were designed by Burne-Jones, except for St Catherine and St. Augustine by Morris, who was also responsible for the colouring. The artist of this particular sketch is unknown. Decorations for the newly-panelled ceilings of the nave and the tower were designed by William Morris and painted under his direction in 1867; and between 1873 and 1877 the windows in the nave and transepts of the chapel were glazed by Morris and Company from designs by Edward Burne-Jones and Ford Madox Brown.
