A figure study for the stained glass design of 'The Resurrection', executed by Morris & Co for Selsley Church, near Stroud, Gloucestershire. On the reverse is part of a pencil sketch for 'The Backgammon Players'. Bequeathed by James Richardson Holliday, 1927.
It remained the only complete scheme of glazing for a church, designed and executed at all the same period, and is thus of outstanding importance as an example of the firm's early work.
