'And He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Cherubims and a flaming sword' from the series 'The Beginning of the World', woodcut engraved by William Harcourt Hooper from a design by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones, England, published in 1902. These 25 woodcuts were originally designed for an illustrated edition of J. W. Mackail's 'Biblia Innocentium', to be published by the Kelmscott Press. The edition was not proceeded with, owing to the death of William Morris. The 25 completed cuts were issued in book form in 1902.
