Some of the letters mention Morris, a fellow Pre-Raphaelite artist, and many letters contain drawings. Also present are a few miscellaneous letters including a Burne-Jones letter to his son, Philip, and a letter (1885) by Bram Stoker to Burne-Jones. An addition includes a letter from Henry Stanley to Burne-Jones, and fifteen letters to his daughter Mrs. Mackail or her husband, J. W. Mackail, relating to Burne-Jones. Among the correspondents are Sir William Fletcher Barrett, Sir Francis Bernard Dicksee, Archibald Forbes, Benjamin Jowett, and George Wyndham. Also included are an autograph note from Burne-Jones to the model Augusta Jones, two letters to unidentified recipients, and a letter from Mrs. Burne-Jones, Lady Georgiana, to a "Mr. French," dated October 4, 1907. There are also 6 letters to Francis Hueffer and 2 letters to Cosmo Monkhouse.
