Fitzwilliam Account Book 1866 August St. Dorothy - 4 4 (£4 and 4 shillings) " Agnes - 4 4 " Barbara - 4 4 These cartoons were made for All Saint's Church, Cambridge. This watercolour is more than likely to be the cartoon for All Saint's Church Cambridge which was retained by the artist for over-painting. This would mean that Burne-Jones was able to maximize his income on this design, having been paid 4 guineas for the original cartoon, he was able then to charge again for it as a watercolour painting. It must have remained in the studio as it was to become a gift to his sister- in-law Louisa.
