Huntingfield Psalter Pierpont Mogan reference number: MS M.43 fol. 7v Morris and Burne-Jones drew heavily on the Huntingfield Psalter for the Kelmscott Chaucer. The artist has chosen to ignore the mannerisms of the thirteenth century and has modernized the anatomy of the figures, Burne-Jones was interested in the design rather than the detail.
Morris bought the Huntingfield Psalter from Quaritch in 1895. Quaritch had it in their catalogue from 1890.
