Angels playing harps were favourite accessories for many of the windows designed by Morris & Co. from the foundation of the Firm until its demise. As yet the drawing here has not been specifically identified but a processing angel playing a harp appears in The Building of the Temple window, designed for Kentish Town Church in 1863 and was re-drawn for it's re-use at Meole Brace in 1869. The cartoon is included in this listing for comparison.
