Agnes MacDonald (1843-1906) was sister to Georgiana Burne-Jones, married the future president of the Royal Academy, Edward Poynter, in 1866 in a double wedding with her sister Louisa.

WW replied: They are sisters so there are inevitably similarities. The Georgie head is by Rooke some years later copying an original by B-J of her seated at the piano. The earlier has not the feel of Georgie but is her sister who B-J drew from frequently at that time. The photo in the entry is of Agnes for comparison.
